Kel-Mac was proud to donate over $6,500.00 to worthy horse related programs in 2010. Those receiving funds were: GERL (Georgia Equine Rescue League) $2000.00; Friends of A.H. Stephens State Park--$2000.00; Friends of Watson's Mill State Park--$500.00; Camp Twin Lakes, equine program--$500.00; Newton County Special Olympics Equestrian Team--$500.00; Stirrup Some Fun Hippotherapy Program--$500.00; Mansfield Equine Impound--$750.00.
All of these programs do great work either for or with horses and we are happy that we can help support them.


Kel-Mac also helped support the Sheriff's Empty Stocking Fund of Morgan County.  Our monetary donation of $100.00 helped make Christmas a little happier for some underprivileged children in the county.  For several years the sheriff's department has allowed some supervised trustees to help Susie set up the jump courses for the shows and they also are the ones that clean out the stalls and help prepare the facility for events.  Our donation is just a very small way of saying "Thank You" to Sheriff Robert Markley of Morgan County.
